Let Me Just Say This… A Quick Synopsis

This more-than-meets-the-eye urban fiction story introduces us to Cheryl Goldman an African-American woman who was not the apple of her mother’s eye.  Her Daddy loved her desperately but even he could not change how his wife felt about their youngest daughter.  Smart, talented and productive were all adjectives that perfectly describe Cheryl.  However, two other words are accomodating and unselfish.  In Cheryl’s attempt to secure friendship, love and favor her gentle efficiency did her more harm than good especially in the case of her husband, Kevin.  You can read my full book review here.

We’ll be tweeting, FB’ing and generally making a bit of a social media ruckus chit-chatting about Just Let Me Say This…!

There’s still time to join the fun as a Blog Tour Host!  Click here for tour sign-up details.

The book is B. Swangin Webster’s Just Let Me Say This.

We meet Cheryl Goldman as a high school student.  She is in a relationship with Shaun, her first love.  After two years in relationship that excluded intercourse – Cheryl wanted to save herself for her wedding night – one night, she decided that it was the night.  However, she changed her mind when the reality of what she was about to engage in hit her.  Shaun was decent enough to have no hard feelings.  However, the next day he was with another girl who ends up pregnant.  This is the initial shaping factor that lays the groundwork for how Cheryl chooses her men.

Not your typical drama — urban, or otherwise.  Just Let Me Say This will make you laugh, get misty, and make you think whether you are male, or female.  What makes us all tick inside?  What motivates us?  These are some of the the questions raised as we see pieces falling into (and out of) place for Cheryl as this story unfolds.

I was so intrigued by the book I wanted to help this author by hosting a blog tour.  It will run from Monday, February 1 – Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

At the end of the tour, there will be a $20 Amazon gift card giveaway for the blog tour participants!

If you are interested in participating in the Just Let Me Say This blog tour, please follow the link and use the form to sign up!

  • – Please note: In the original post to this blog tour request, there was a $5 honorarium offered.  Almost unilaterally, all participants DECLINED the small offer to thank them for their time, effort, marketing and blog space!

To the amazing women of the Just Let Me Say This… Blog Tour Book Bloggers, I thank each and every one of you for renewing my faith in those who love reading and those who love writing!
